Portraiture work is one of the most challenging and rewarding endeavors in watercolor. It also does an admirable job of highlighting what makes watercolor so visually captivating: the building up of transparent layers to create depth.
This was my first ever attempt at watercolor portraiture. And it was addicting! This is my friend Austin, who reminds me of a young Robert Downey Jr.

My sister, Hannah.
My cousin, Jantz.
